The Story Behind Our Society

The
Gold Coast Rose Society was founded on 15th February 2000 by a group of
individuals who were members of the Queensland Rose Society who were dedicated
to sharing their passion of growing roses on the Gold Coast. We aim
to encourage, improve and the extend the appreciation of growing roses on
the Gold Coast.
From our humble beginnings, our membership continues to grow each year as we
welcome everyone with a interest in roses to join our monthly get togethers,
come to pruning demonstrations and attend our annual rose show which is open to
the public.
This gives our members the opportunity to showcase some of the best cultivars
to grow on the Coast when are roses are at their very best.
